@ Redwoods in Kiddy, Watti's goodbye gig

7.00 pm

bout £2.00

1/3/2003 Knuckledust, Clay, Komanchi Tribe, Seraphidian, Firefly and Satans Cheerleaders @ Wolverhampton Wulfrun Hall. Firstly, apologies to the coach load of tribe members who got stuck in Wolverhampton after this gig. The night got off to a good start with a good sound from Firefly, a tremendous onslaught from Seraphidian, Komanchi played a pretty solid, downstroke set and apart from a few problems with the sound onstage it all went well. Knuckledust were brutal although Watti never managed to get hold of that J off Pete (singer/KD) (lol). The DJ's after it all kept things going and most of the crowd were never too far away from the stage when Satans Cheerleaders were shakin their (very fine) stuff. Quality

31/01/03 Protozoa, Komanchi and Junk Monkey @ Tamworth Media Centre, Not so sure that Junk Monkey actually played at this gig but wasnt really in the best state to remember, was a wicked nite tho, Komanchi were main support for Protozoa, playing new material and old, what with circle pits and insane moshing guitarists (Ian), nite finished off nicely with a 20 person lineup for Refuse Resist in true "Max" Style... Besides all the fun at the venue, we had a snowball fight on the M6 which involved Dive getting hit with a bin Moulam threw and an hours worth of 1 am charging around lobbing huge piles of snow at each other (we live in Stourport ok, we were deprived of snow, bastards)

10/1/03 Kill II This, Komanchi and Godsize @ Rock Cafe Stourbridge, This was a great nite out, not only were Godsize on top form, Komanchi played a great set despite being a lil cramped on the already minute stage, playing their latest track "Why do you Lie" with brutal intensity. The final band to take the stage were a welcome sight after the lineup changes and breakup theyve experienced, Kill2This were excellent and I was proud to be able to say that we had supported them, hopefully this wont be the last time...

7/9/02 Komanchi's Worcester BOTB winners gig @ the Marrs Bar, Worcester, Frakkture, after getting over a few technical difficulties and finally getting the sound they were happy with, settled into a fast and furious set, throwing out harsh vocals with blast beats from the drummer and excellent rythms from the bass player. Optophobia played a stunning set despite the bass player suffering from the flu, began with brutal vocals and fast slap bass and carried it through to the end despite being distracted momentarily by Ran showing them his arse. according to Red we played a blinding gig, I think everyone else had this opinion as well but she was the only one to get our appreciation shown by being drenched in official Komanchi Tribe post gig sweat.

21/8/02 All Day Metal Fest With Godsize, Fallen To, Harpies, First Offence, Optophobia at the Stourbridge Rock Cafe, everyone there played a great gig, with very few slip ups although there were quite a few minor wounds after the mosh for some of the bands. Start 'Er Up, nice one all you crazies

15/8/02 At the Marrs Bar supporting Calm Insanity and Godsize, some real hardcore shit although the crowd were a little scared of some of the bands, namely Calm Insanity, kick ass

12/08/02 Boys had the Wolverhampton Battle Of the Bands last night, semi finals but we didnt make it through, First Offence and Sabotage Left beat us to it by 3 points, nice try tho guys and well done to the winners, best of luck in the finals!!

The Worcester Battle of the Bands was in fact won by Komanchi Tribe, we played against Logan on the 30th of August, as a result of this we get a 6 day tour (dates TBC) finishing with a headline gig at the Marrs Bar, £1000 of music equipment, a session in the Marrs Bar Studio, a photoshoot and a musical makeover.
